They four battery 18650 they sell as power banks. I ordered a couple I'm using to power lights and whatever I decide to add to my electric bike. That way the bike battery isn't powering everything and might get me further down the road.

I believe these are Hyster forklift batteries or at least that was one application. I had a few some years ago, inherited from a friend who's dad worked there. The SAFT 41 cells are used in military and aerospace applications, they are good.

Also if i buy a "x1 pack ( Tested, BMS awake)" will the battery plug in and charge up?

i got my Bird ES1 battery out of the stem and hooked up to a charger. Drilled a hole in the casing and hit the reset button. It is blinking red now. When i hook up the charger to the discharge plug, just like you did, the charger blinks green and never turns red. I never get a blue blinking light on the battery.. Do you know what i am doing wrong or if the battery is possibly bad? Thank you for all this information.

How did you kill lithium battery like over discharge or over temperature it?

Getting a few used 12V car batterys from a scrapyard and connect them in series would give the same results and would be cheaper. Use a inverter charge controller and your done for than €200,- probably. At least in my region.

I picked up a used e-bike With a bad battery Problem was It was left uncharged For a year or 2And 1 group of cells dropped below the BMS So it's safely cut the pk off I simply rebalance that pk Put it back together and eventually change out the BMS A better quality 1 with A better quality 1 with a Bluetooth Been working fine ever since But I have been nervous about my larger batteries I've built And now put BMS units That have Bluetooth On all of them It's worth The peace of mind Now we know the temperature In case of thermal runaway And the balance of the battery itself

this is just sad. i thought it was cool at the start untill he shows that wall he made. what a giant waste of money. please tell me those are not all 18650 batteries. because going to that size. there would have been MANY MANY cheaper options. not to mention safer options. i wonder what the local fire department thinks about that wall.
